We can be hard, I know. But let me help you out. I’m a teen girl, and chances are these gifts below that I’ve picked out will be great gifts for her!
We teenage girls do love our music, and we like playing it super duper loud in our rooms alone to annoy everyone else in the house. I’m not exactly sure about the latter (I’ve seen it in a movie), but we do love having a way to blast some music whether we’re lounging outside, going to the beach, traveling, etc. The JBL speaker has awesome sound quality, and it is very portable!!
Polaroid cameras are so incredibly popular with most teenage girls. Our artsy fartsy pictures are very important to us because all of our Instagram followers need to know how cool we are. At least that’s why I love Polaroid cameras. This one is so cool because its touchscreen. Any teen would love it as an upgrade from their old Polaroid or as their very first!!
Ever seen those white and black Adidas shoes? Well, I have. Every single time I walk through my school I am guaranteed to pass them at least ten times. How much more proof do you need that this is a good gift? The pair of shoes above is tan and white, not the traditional b&w. I think that you should be on trend if you want to be, but also be unique. You know your daughter best though, so choose the pair that she’d like, and, if that’s the white and black, who cares!?! All that matters is she likes them.
For a lot of teenage girls, playing around with looks is fun, which includes hair. Curled hair is soooo in right now, and the selection of irons above offers different types of curls. It also comes with a traveling bag, ensuring that your daughter can take her curling irons anywhere and everywhere so she doesn’t embarrass you with bad hair.
I’m getting to the age where I’m starting to need to carry a purse, and I’m thinking about how they go with my outfit and actually noticing them in stores. I like the small purses, and they tend to be what most teenage girls carry just because they’re easy. This bag above (by Steve Madden), is super cute and I think any girl would love it.
This sweatshirt by Rip Curl (called the beachcomber hoodie) is another trend. They are very popular and you can find so many. You can choose which one fits your daughter best. I think the one above is very chic and would make for a great present.
So, this is the age when bedroom makeovers become a big deal. Different kinds of lights are a must, and this light box is so cute! You can do something cheesy, or a favorite quote, or movie, etc. There are so many letters for her to use. I think it is super cool!!
This cardboard projector allows you to project off your phone! Cool, right? I think it could be so much fun for watching a movie outside, or even in your room. Full disclosure: I got one last year, and it is fairly easy to use.
Army jackets are sooo in right now. But not just army jackets, ones with patches. This jacket from Levi’s contains a few cute dispersed patches, and the piece as a whole would be super stylish by itself. But it is also a great base to add on more patches. Amazon has so many iron-on patches so you can choose depending on what music she likes, vacation spots, movies, etc. You know her best, so use your best judgement of whether she’ll prefer to add on or not, or if you should find a patchless army jacket, which is still supa fashionable.
Have I mentioned that teenage girls like to look pretty? Makeup is so much fun to play with, and girls are always looking to expand their palettes in both type and color. This gift is “Victoria’s Secret Ultimate Angel Makeup Kit.” The gift comes with so many eye shadows, gel liners, eye liners, mascara, blushes, bronzers, translucent powder, luminous powder, lip glosses, applicators, aaaaaand a guide for getting the super secret ultimate Angel looks. Trust me this is a bargain; the price is perfect for so much make up! She will absolutely love it!
You know, I was going to stop at 10 gifts, and then I found this. This Kate Spade watch is so dang cute, and it is on a huge sale! The brand also has so many other cute watches (like the bulldog in the collage), but I think this one is definitely the best. Every girl needs a peaclock!
Remember above when I said cool lighting was very popular? Well, string lights are at the top. You can hang these around your room, and they come with a remote control so you don’t have to get up and unplug them. Because those five extra steps would be asking for too much. But, more importantly, they hang pictures too! This would go great with that new touchscreen Polaroid camera I was telling you about!
A Final Note on . . . Ebates!
Are you using Ebates? If not, you should be! It gives you cash back on purchasers from most major online retailers. Just sign up, and then, before you start an online shopping session, go to Ebates first. (This is important — you usually won’t get cash back for items already in your cart!) I was a skeptic, but it really works!!
