Afegirls: About Us

 

Hi! We’re the Afegirls: Lynn & Emma, a mother / daughter team who love to travel, take pictures and discover new and unusual things to do.  This blog catalogs our adventures at home and away.

We are lucky to live in New Hampshire, which offers a ton of outdoor adventure options but is not too far from Boston and NYC when we need to get our city fix on.  We are the female half of a family of four, and, yes, the boys are usually along for the ride, at least on our bigger trips.

Here’s a little more about each of us:

 

I’m Lynn (aka Afegirl 1), mom of two and wife of one. I work full time and, when not working, hang out with kids, husband and pets.  I discovered many years ago that, for our family with two working parents and busy kids, travel was an essential time to catch up and reconnect as a family.  I also found that I love planning our trips and that there’s not a ton of info out there on trips and activities with teenagers.  I hope with this blog to share a little of what I’ve learned and what’s worked for us.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I’m Emma (somehow stuck being Afegirl 2), mother and wife of none. I’m a sophomore in high school, and when I’m out of school, I spend way too much time with my mom (love you<3). I like outdoorsy activities, but I also like looking pretty; it’s a problem – I know. I really just like to be in the pictures. I also really really really like Jon Snow.
